So maybe I’ve already been a bride.  That doesn’t mean I’m not in love with all things weddings still.  In fact, whenever I have free time I find myself perusing some of my favorite wedding inspiration sites for current trends and little baubles to add to your day.  As a photographer, I’m always on the lookout for details.  Pretty things tend to catch my eye.. especially when they involve sparkles and lace.  Today I am sharing with you, one of my favorite go-to sites for pretty little decor, accessory, and gift details, BHLDN.  Their wedding dress selection is absolutely fabulous as well!! If you haven’t heard of BHLDN then maybe you’ve heard of Anthropologie.  They’re under the same roof and I die over all of their pretties.  What I love about BHLDN is no matter the style of your wedding, you can incorporate a lot of their pieces.  For example that clutch down below that I’m sharing, you could totally rock it for a vintage, classic modern, or rock n roll themed wedding.  The possibilities are endless and the price tags aren’t bad!   I’ve linked everything back to the BHLDN site for your easy navigation! Enjoy!

Heirloom Hangers (Substitute over the plastic store hanger = pretty dress pictures), Creamline Bustier, Twinkle Cake Serving Set, Pearl Necklace (this would be amazing with a low back dress)

Motif Heels (HELLO these are fantastic!), Be My Bridesmaid Cards, Beaded Capelet (I would die if I had a bride wear this!  Take it off halfway through the day for a different look), Crystal Rose Clutch

Last week I attended the annual WPPI convention in Las Vegas.  The convention is an opportunity for photographers to take classes and learn new things or brush up on old.  There’s also a fabulous trade show that causes all who go to either A. Drain their bank account or B. In my case– wish and pray to win the lottery to buy everything.  I did however buy an Instax Mini that should arrive this week.  Holla!!!

The week long convention is also a chance to hang with friends who love all the same things in the photography world or make new.  In my case, I made tons of new friends this year due to the shoot out I hosted on the Las Vegas desert.  I styled a and hosted a hippie/gypsy inspired shoot that photographers were able to attend to either build their portfolio or put a fresh spin on a current portfolio.  We had a ball!!!  The location was amazing and I love the end result of the images.  Here is the first round of my shoot out.  The stunning and fiery Maygen… may these bridal images urge you to think outside the box when choosing your wedding attire and hair and makeup.. maybe even urge you to hire me as your Las Vegas wedding photographer 😉
