I had an absolute blast shooting Rhiannon! Such a doll and such a natural in front of the camera! I was dying over her outfit choices! Hellooooo– bright color skinny jeans, animal print, and tube top dresses are so up my alley! We went to 2 locations I’ve been dying to go to. One I had to wait until I got permission and the other is the famous waterfall we’ve all heard of up Consumers. In my 2+ years of being in Utah, this was my first time to make the trip. It was a long and bumpy ride but so worth it!

Thank you so much for choosing me to shoot your senior photos Rhiannon! It was truly a pleasure! Oh, and I feel absolutely horrible about you stepping on the nail! I heard that you were strong through the tetanus shot! Beautiful and tough! Great combo girl! Wishing you all the luck next year at Mesa State! You are going to make a fabulous teacher one day!

I wanted to write and share some exciting news with regards to Utah’s wedding industry! I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside four talented Utah wedding vendors, and together we have launched For the Utah Bride, a Utah-based blog that serves as an informative and inspirational resource for Utah brides preparing for their big day! This blog is designed with the Utah bride in mind and will feature articles that range from educational tips and tricks to inspirational ideas and vendor spotlights. Our goal is to serve the Utah bride, as she is our primary audience, with information she will find valuable and helpful. Our goal is to highlight all Utah professionals offering quality services and products within Utah’s wedding industry. It does not cost to participate in our blog. Sharlynne & Trenton: Save The Date Session

This quick little session was an absolute blast! Sharlynne and Trenton needed some photos for their save-the-date cards they plan to send out for their wedding in the next couple of weeks. Sharlynne and I brainstormed before hand on creative ideas for their cards and she totally came up with this idea. I truly cannot take credit! Ladies, if you need a fun idea for save-the-date cards or just an engagement session, she is the girl to contact! Major props to the Price, Utah theater for putting up the sign and letting us use their venue for a quick 10 minutes on the opening night of The Hunger Games.

Thank you again for asking me to shoot this session for you Sharlynne and Trenton! I am so excited for your October wedding! I know it’s going to be something amazing!

I love the sass of these last two photos and how at first she’s playing hard to get but eventually gives in with a kiss. My hubby and I so play this game with each other! It keeps things interesting.

I was a part of this amazing shoot back in September. Holding these images in has been extremely hard but so worth it! The day was absolutely perfect. Nice weather, beautiful design, a gorgeous couple, an amazing Utah location, and the NICEST group of vendors a girl could ever work with! A huge thank you to Michelle Cousins of Utah Events by Design for asking me to be a part of this amazing shoot!

Good morning! I am so excited to share these photos with you! Not only was this the first time shooting a wedding outside of my normal Utah or Nebraska, but also my first time traveling to Washington. Amboy is a small little town located Northeast of Portland/Vancouver area. Not to be confused with Forks. For a moment I felt like I’d walked on set of a teenage vampire movie. Minus the vampires of course. Liz and Brian’s wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. It was a 3 day even located at the Anderson Lodge, nestled back in the beautiful rolling hills near Amboy.

When I woke up on their wedding morning and headed down the stairs of the main cabin, I was greeted by at least 20 family members prepping breakfast for the entire bridal party and the bridal dinner for all those attending that night. Everyone was smiling and working diligently to make Liz and Brian’s big day nothing short of amazing. I felt so welcome and was treated more as if I were a bridesmaid. I went right to work though and put on my wedding photographer hat, capturing my most favorite of all weddings. I am so proud of these images. I shared a just a tiny slice of their day and this is still a pretty large post! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

Liz and Brian– Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your beautiful 3 day celebration. I had such a great time and truly admire the love that you share for each other! Wishing you two the brightest of futures!!
