Happy Halloween!!! I am so excited to be sharing these images with you! A few months back T’Ann, Ericka and I started planning these shoots and I dont think they could have came together better! Halloween + boudoir = two of my favorite things! I am already dreaming up ideas for next year! Without further adieu introducing our Bride of Frankenstein, David Bowie, and The Robot!

Good morning and Happy Monday! When I woke up I laid in bed for about 15 minutes before I got up for the day. These two little guys sleep on the floor next to my side of the bed so they are usually one of the first things I see in the morning. As soon as they see me push the covers back they run for the door like a small heard and wait for me at the top of the stairs to go down for their morning routine. I normally take today off so that I can have a two day weekend but after realizing that they both just had birthdays (and cute lion haircuts) I decided to snap a few shots of them. I’m a bad momma and hadn’t done a “photoshoot” with either of them in like three years. Yes, they are my children. Yes I love them like humans. And they are so damn cute. There’s no denying it. For those of you who don’t know, my little red guy is Mr Bojangles. AKA Bo, or Bobo, or Poops, or Sir Poops A Lot, or Pooper-Jangs, or Jangles, or Bojanagies, and more recently- Scooter. My husband has given this dog at least 50 nicknames and he answers to all of them. And not to bring up the word poop anymore on purpose (sorry) he’s a pretty normal dog in that way- I really have no idea why Tony incorporated that word into his nicknames. But again, he answers to it. The little white one is Archibald. But we call him Archie, or more often, Archie Bear. Actually most people call him Archie Bear. My friends, my mother-in-law, my nieces and nephews. It just fits him. He’s our mini polar bear. Anyway, I love these two little cuties. They can make the worst day so much better. They have little feelings and it’s sad when they are hurt. You can tell. They are smart and loving and just good little dogs. They only yap if they hear knocking or a car honk. I feel like both of them have no idea that they are dogs and I am okay with that. I just love them and they bring so much joy to our lives!

Instagram is an amazing thing! I have met so many people and have gained so much business from the little phone app. Beatrice and I became Insta friends a couple of years ago and I’ve always loved her vibe. This woman is crazy cool and has such a rad style. Known as @thegraveyardgirl Ive always wanted to work with her but it wasn’t until the day that she had posted a shot of her new yellow bob that I contacted her to shoot. Don’t get me wrong, she was gorgeous before but I found this dress the day prior and really had no idea how I could shoot it. Fast forward 24 hours and her Insta selfie was the answer. We met up the next day, she tried it on, and we started planning! I worked with two of my favorites on this shoot, T’Ann on makeup and Rebecca on flowers. These ladies are insane and really helped pull everything together. I love giving them creative freedom to do whatever they want. The images always turn out so much better!
I insisted Beatrice bring one of her keyboards. The girl is insanely talented and I love photographing people who are super passionate about something with whatever it is they are passionate about. One of my fav shoots to date. I love setting up sessions for myself every once in a while!
