When I finished these images I showed them to my husband and he immediately said, “this is what family photos should be, not posed, just real life.” I about flew out of my computer chair. This is exactly how I feel about family photos. And why I don’t do family sessions often. Because I’m not into the posed stuff. I like the real, honest moments between family. Just kids being kids and mom and dad letting me document the moments as they are. I am head over heels in love with this family session. The cutest house! My vintage heart may have done back flips. I LOVED all of the vintage toys. Stuff I remember as a kid and older. These three babies just melted my heart and you can tell that their parents feel the same. We squealed and twirled. We walked the dog, found a “rainbow tree”, and just played. When I have my own babies, this is what I want. And if you are open to letting me come into your home and be a part of your life for about an hour, I’d love to document your family story. Letting your children be children and just having life captured as it is.

This little family is near and dear..well maybe not as near as I’d like…to my heart! The Mull’s are a wild bunch back in Omaha that I miss so very much! Stef and Brian are some of the best friends my husband and I could ask for and the two of us are pretty smitten over their kiddos Makenna, Peyton, and Beckett. I don’t shoot families often but when I do, we go out and have some fun! These guys were making me laugh the entire time! I think they made the other families who were at this location that afternoon too a little jealous of how much fun we were having! 😉
I love you guys! Thanks for asking me to take these for you! Hugs and kisses!!
