Next to my favorite people in life, and of course photography, my favorite thing in the world is adventure.  I crave it!  And I need it.  But I don’t need some elaborate drawn out plan every time I get the adventure itch.  It could be a Sunday drive or a hike in the mountains.  Or just meeting and spending time with new friends.  Like these guys, Lexi and Matt!  I had a blast hanging with them on a fun little trip out to the Great Salt Lake.  Obviously they are babes and so in love.  We froze our faces off but it was so worth it.  Thanks you two for letting me tag along!  XO

I am kicking myself over the fact that I never blogged these images!  With Spring right around the corner and Utah’s Festival of Colors coming up soon, I thought these were super appropriate to share in full!  When Amanda told me her idea of using Holie powder as part of their engagement photos I literally sat up out of my office chair and jumped up and down clapping my hands.  If you know me well, you know I love color.  I also love a good party so this combination was fantastic!!  We ventured to one of my favorite locations in Omaha and had a heck of a time getting splattered with color.  I even left with some of it on my feet and face!  It was so fun to see these displayed at A & J’s wedding and the guests loved them too!

Hoping these brighten your day and get you geared up for warm weather!  Happy Sunday!!

Okay.  So I am OBSESSED with this session!  Truly!  And I love when couples agree to my crazy ideas for their photo shoot.  Hadley and Alan are avid Farmer’s Market go-ers so what better place to do their love session?  I couldn’t be happier photographing people in their element doing something together that they love.

We headed to the Downtown Salt Lake City Farmer’s Market on a recent Autumn morning and soaked up all that was to offer.  We hunted for the best vegetables, stopped to pet puppies, tasted only the finest of salsa samples, ran into Hadley and Alan’s neighbors who own The Bagel Project, perused over beautiful booths of fresh cut flowers, and the two of them picked out the perfect pumpkins just in time for Halloween.  I had a blast following them around, capturing their true and honest love.

So what do you and your sweetheart enjoy doing as a couple?  Whatever it is, I’d love to photograph it for you!
