I wanted to give a quick shout out to my friend Kandis, owner of Wish Workshops! This uber talented lady is not only and amazing photographer, but she has such a big heart and loves helping other photographers.  One way that she spreads the love is by sharing her photoshop actions.

For those of you non-photographers, actions are tools used to edit photos.  Think of them as little short cuts or ways to get editing done a lot faster.   By no means are actions meant to fix photos, but more so enhance them and help give you as a photographer a “signature look”.   Getting the proper exposure first, is super important.  Practice, practice, and more practice and then experiment with actions once you have it down!

I discovered Wish Actions a few months back and by far, they are my most favorite to use!  Kandis has made them super user friendly and even has tutorials posted online that help explain how to get the most out of them.   Be sure to check out all of her actions here for Photoshop and Photoshop Elements .  Also, become a fan of her Facebook page for all the latest and great on Wish Workshops!

The below photo is of one of my 2012 Senior Spokesmodels, Koda!!  We had so much fun this morning and she is such a beauty!  The photo on the far left is the SOOC (straight out of camera) image.  The middle photo was edited with Kanani from the soon to be released (tomorrow!!) South Pacific action set.  The photo on the far right was edited with the Wish in Black and White action set which is available for purchase right now!

See….told you Wish Actions are great!  Go check out her page now!  Happy Saturday!

Happieness,

Amy

This shoot was everything I love all wrapped up into one!  Beautiful light, fun props, a couple who is crazy in love, inside jokes, lots of laughs…I’m so glad to have met you Heather and Mitch!  These two are getting married in the Salt Lake Temple in just a few weeks!  This will be my first ever temple wedding and I am so excited to get to shoot at this gorgeous location!  :)  Stay tuned for their groomal session as well!  It’s going to be just as fun if not more than their engagement session!

Happiness,
Amy
