Just a little note to update those interested in booking on my upcoming availability:

May– I will be in Utah all of May and am completely booked except for the boudoir marathon on the 21st.  I have a couple of spots left and am also open to taking families, kids, seniors, engagements, etc that day in Salt Lake.  I also have a spot open in the early afternoon on the 22nd in Salt Lake.  For those of you who I have spoke to in the Carbon County area in the last 2 weeks and are still trying to decide which date you want for May, those spots are still available to you for the next few days.  Please let me know ASAP which date you would like so we can make more permanent arrangements.  Should I have any cancellations in May, Ill be sure to make an announcement for those of you who have been asking about May dates that I currently don’t have a spot for.

June– I will be in Omaha/Sioux City for a few days at the beginning of June and am already completely booked for portrait sessions unless there are any cancellations.  However, I do have one spot still available for the boudoir marathon on June 5th.  Please email right away should you want this spot.   The remainder of June will be spent in Utah.  I have lots of weekday and evening spots available and just one Saturday left to take photo sessions.  Lots of babies being born in June which means 4 newborn shoots for this girl that month.  Please email me right away to hold a spot for any portrait sessions you are wanting to book in June.

July– I will be spending a couple of weeks in Omaha/Sioux City/Anthon area and already have a waiting list going as I am not sure yet on exact dates.  If you are in the Midwest and want me to hold a spot for you this summer, email me NOW to be on the waiting list.  Availability will be limited and I will not be back near as much this summer as what I was last summer.

What an incredible start I have to this year already!  I can’t thank my clients, family, and friends enough for believing in me and pushing me to follow a dream.  I had no idea that things would pick up this quick for me in Utah and continue to grow so much back home!  I am so blessed and excited to be staying busy and doing something I love!  Thank you from the bottom of my big brown heart! :)  Just another quick note, I’ve had a few individuals email me in the last couple of months about mentoring.  It is something I am totally considering for the future but will not be taking on right at this moment.  When the time is right, I’ll for sure make an announcement.  In the meantime, feel free to keep emailing me your questions as Ill be sure to make time to answer them.

Should you have any further questions about scheduling or anything, please feel free to email me at amy@amycloudphotography.com  Thanks again and have a fabulous Monday!!

Happiness,
Amy

And of course a photo!  My nephew Caliber.  Words cannot express the deep down, burning love I have for this little boy…

I must first start off by saying that Kandis of Wish Photography is an absolute superstar!!  In the short time I’ve known her via the Internet, I have built a super strong bond with her!  We are pbffs (photography best friends forever) as she likes to say!  :)  Its so fabulous getting to meet someone who shares the love of photography as much if not more than you while becoming instant friends.  She is also very encouraging and knows just what to say on days when I’ve been in a slump.   I know that she is like this towards everyone though.  I’ve seen it.  She is super helpful and wants to share her talents by teaching others.  I really admire her for that!

I recently was introduced to her actions on a whim and fell in love instantly.  Through my eyes, her actions have taken my photos to another level.  I feel like they are now little pieces of protrait art.  Head over to Wish Workshops and check out her amazing actions.  Lots of before and after shots.  Then head over to the Wish Workshops blog and buy them!  Do it!  You won’t regret it! :)  She also has lots of how to videos that explain and demonstrate how to use her actions.

As if I haven’t enticed you enough, then you need to check out the workshop she is holding this summer in the gorgeous Park City, UT.  I feel that workshops and education is so important in our industry.  Digital photography is continuing to evolve and having a fresh perspective and new knowledge is super important.  I have made it a goal to attend at least 2 workshops/trainings per year.  The Wish Retreat will be one of them for me this year.  I also feel that its super important to be inspired.  I can say from experience that surrounding yourself with other people in the industry in a learning environment is SUPER valuable.  Not only is the new knowledge super important, but the confidence I have gained after leaving past workshops has really pushed me forward as far as growth.  Plus, its so great getting to make new friends and contacts.  I love meeting new friends!  You can check out more info about the Wish Retreat on Kandis’ blog found here.  Also, check out the flier below.  SUCH a great price for a weekend retreat from someone who has excelled and knows as much as she does about photography.  Oh, and check out this eye candy.  The cabin we will be staying in can be found here:

I must say that I am SO excited to get to be a part of this weekend!  I am counting down the days and hope that time goes by fast!  Thanks so much for putting on this retreat Kandis.  You are such a gem and I’m so excited to get to soak up your expertise!
