I talked about my love for music the other day, so I found this post rather appropriate!

Music moves my soul.   It amazes me how much a song can define your current mood.  When I edit I listen to light, airy, bouncy, Indie Music.  When I karaoke its twangy country or classic female rock.  When I’m in the car with the hubby its something upbeat we both know and can sing to and laugh about.  I love all genres and am constantly on the hunt for new melodies–even though I tend to always fall back on my favorites!

This morning I stumbled upon a new voice via my photog friend Jessica.  You have to check out the talent she mentioned to go and vote for this morning on Facebook, Jenn Blosil.  Her sound and tone is so beautiful and sings to my soul!!  I so want to buy her cd asap!

Jennifer made it to the top 40 for the opportunity to play at the Stadium of Fire this year in Provo Utah!!!  She will be an opening act for David Archuleta and has the chance to win 10 g’s if she wins!!

So take a second and click on this link to vote!

I LOVE shooting engagement photos more than anything!  Boudoir and seniors are right behind but engagements totally have my heart!  I am a hopeless romantic and have been since I was a little girl.  Every day I played with Barbies and there was a wedding at least once a week between Barbie and Ken.  As I got older, I found means to feed my love addiction through other ways.  Movies, books, & music mostly.  OH music!  I have been in love with music since I can remember.  My mother would sing to me as a little girl and I still have very vivid memories of her singing love songs to me at age 2.

When I was old enough, I dated a couple of boys and first fell in love at 17.  I know I know…17.  But I was.  I knew it then and know it now.  That love eventually faded and I dated here and there for the next few years and then fell madly in love with my soulmate.  The man I am now married to.  And as time goes on, I fall for him more and more every day. I need love, affection, and passion in my life.  Without it, I couldn’t go on.

Now as an adult and married to my dream man, my love addiction is fed by him.  I also get bits and pieces of it from clients I photograph.  Love frozen in time is so valuable.  My goal is and has ALWAYS been to make people feel things through my photos.  Shots like the one below fill my heart with happiness and my tummy with butterflies.  If you have a special love in your life that you would like captured in a forever memory, I would be honored to help you hold on to it forever. Engaged, dating, married, it doesn’t matter.  Love is love.  And such a beautiful thing…

I absolutely adored this session!  Kimberly and Kyle were a blast and down for anything,  Closing in on 10 years of marriage with three little boys, and still SO SO in love!  I am such a sucker for love stories!

Thanks so much you two!  I am so glad I got to meet you!  Your happy little story warms my heart!
